Singer/songwriter Veronica Leigh has been blessed with a beautiful voice, songwriting skills that show depth of experiences, and a smile that could brighten any room she walks in.

​

Although things have not always been smooth sailing for her; she has led a life resembling the life of the biblical woman named Rahad (Hebrews 11: 31), a survivor of abuse and a divorcee, the UK native has overcome all of these obstacles, with the divine healing and deliverance of God.

​

Now by the grace of God, she is married to Claude Barnes, she is the mother of two daughters, one son, and one grandson. Remarkably, she has added the titles pastor, workshop facilitator, author, motivational speaker, and, recording artiste to her roster.

Ministry

​

Veronica has traveled locally and internationally sharing her heart-rending testimony while delivering the message of God. 

​

Veronica brings a distinctive and stirring style to her messages and ministry by highlighting the issues of abuse in all its forms in the community. Her focus, however, is not on the abuse but on the gifts and talents that lay dormant within the individual before, during, and after the abuse. Through her story, Veronica Leigh shares her gifts intending to deliver hope, healing, restoration, empowerment, reconciliation, and transformation to those who have been impacted by abuse.

Musical Journey

​

Notably, she has released myriad musical projects, including her debut gospel, reggae album, “My Destiny My Purpose” and her EP, “The Secret Place.” Her follow-up album, “Lady Bird” has recently been released and so far has gotten tremendous feedback. Her walk and music are inspired by maintaining an open eye, a spiritual connection with God, and a burning passion to spread the message of truth.  For her great contributions to music, Veronica Leigh has earned herself a nomination for Best Reggae Artist of the Year with the Gospel Explosion Awards 2021, countless interviews, and magazine features.

On the 15th of June 2021 and the 12th of July 2022, Veronica was voted The Listeners Choice with two number-one hits. The first one was called 'It is no secret'. This was a track taken from her first album 'My Destiny My Purpose' and the second from her current album Lady Bird called  'Togetherness' through the Stevie J UK chart show. 

One of Veronica Leigh’s singles and video is part of an 8-voice album called ‘Call to Duty.’ This album features many voices from all over the world, predominately male voices, which are dedicated to all frontline workers.

This bird keeps on flying, with another notch to her belt and a powerful publicist behind her, setting the platform on the great island of Jamaica Veronica has been interviewed by numerous radio DJs, featured in two of Jamaica's news articles, The Star and the Observer.  On March the 8th 2022 - Women's International Day Veronica appeared on Jamaica Sunshine TV with hosts Adrian Atkinson and Sheriann Ward.

Author

​

As an author, she has unveiled two books, “Birthed out of Chaos,” an inspirational book of poems/interactive, and “Abortion Exposed: Breaking the Cycle of Anger Guilt and Shame. In the upcoming book titled 'The Lioness and the Narcissist', Veronica shares her testimony about overcoming domestic abuse and exposes the traits and behaviors of this evil personality. Her second upcoming book is all for our young children, titled "I may be young BUT! Based on the story of King David, and through the guidance of a spiritual leader they will be able to grow in the knowledge of truth and be strong enough to say NO! to the lies of the enemy. We shall train our children in the direction of the Lord. These two new and exciting books will be available in April 2024.

DJ Radio Presenter

On the 15th of May 2022, Veronica presented her first radio ministry called The Veronica Leigh Gospel Show. She has been positioned on a secular platform www.ukpressureradio.com  where she pastors to believers and non-believers locally and internationally. Veronica's ministry involves empowering interviews with artists from the USA, UK, and Jamaica, and she's spreading her wings further into other parts of the world. Veronica also offers empowering words of encouragement and plays sensational gospel music of all genres. You can listen to her ministry every Thursday evening from 7 pm to 9 pm. Her shows are also streamed every Sunday morning from 10 am to 12 pm. Recorded shows are available on Facebook and all social media platforms.

Before long the need for a larger tent was crystallized into action by a word from the Lord about the biggest tent of all, one that would seat thirty-four thousand people. Large enough to completely cover three football fields, with masts that rose as high as a six-story building, the "Big Tent" was a giant in every respect. It stood like a gigantic combine harvester, ready to move out into the ripe harvest fields of Africa.

It was only a matter of two years though, before even this huge canopy could no longer contain the masses that were streaming to the Gospel Campaigns. It was after Blantyre, Malawi that the big tent was no longer used because a crowd of 150,000 people attended a single meeting, more than four times the capacity of the "Big Tent"!
